Curatorial Concepts

My curatorial concepts are socially engaged. The focus therefore lies on participation, community engagement, public spaces, questions of gender, care, and structural transformation.

Academic Lectures

My academic lectures combine interdisciplinary theories and examples from artistic and curatorial practices. In my lectures I focus on histories and theories around feminist artistic and curatorial practice, care ethics, social reproduction, and feminist methods of situating and auto-theory.

Feminist Consulting

As organisations understand the necessity to adjust their structures to the lived realities of staff and audiences with caring responsibilities, I support them in the building of a work environment that is socially and emotionally sustainable. In my consulting for projects, cultural institutions, and companies I focus on questions of gender, care, and how an organization’s external communication can be aligned with their internal structures, e.g. to avoid “care-washing”.

Mentoring & Process Support

For individuals – often students, independent artists, or art collectives – I offer personalized mentoring sessions. For (artistic) groups and projects I also offer process support that provides critical feedback and guidance along the way.

Public Speaking & Panels

As an expert on care-work, gender, curatorial practice, and feminist art I am invited to lectures and panels at cultural and academic institutions, radio shows, and podcasts.

Performance Lectures & Participatory Formats

In my artistic practice, I merge research with performative methods. Through movement, voice, body, and moving image, I translate socially relevant questions into embodied, accessible experiences across different stages and contexts – often in public space.

Workshops & Teaching

How to put feminist care theories into practice? Where to start building “caring infrastructures”? In my workshops and teachings, I explore in which ways care can be practiced as a method. I facilitate workshops for businesses, universities and cultural organisations.

Publications

I engage in academic and art-related publishing as an editor of artist monographs and anthologies, and as an author of articles, forewords, and reviews. While I write for expert audiences, it is important to me to also publish my work in an accessible language for a wider audience.
